This series of photographs showcase the process of understanding and integrating oneself into new living spaces. In order to find out about our identity we need to accept the reality we are surrounded with. The work appears as a reflection of everyday situations to expose the relationship of ones own identity and the surrounding environment. Encountering routine situations while wearing the German „Dirndl“ suggests placement of oneself in a preconceived reality. Being entirely related to everything that is, provides us with a profound acknowledgement of being what we are - no matter where we are.
